Frolicking in the festivities!

It's the most wonderful time of the year! With ornaments to decorate, elves to look after, sleigh bells to find, and parties to attend, we have certainly had our first-grade plates nice and full! ...but we have been enjoying every moment!

For the month of December, Santa set a special elf named Max to help look after our classroom of leaders! Except for the few days that Max had to spend in the hospital due to a work-related injury, we had fun looking for him in the morning to see what he had been up to at night! He was certainly a silly little fella! Our lunchroom even had another elf named Cookie!

This year, we had fun making ornaments of ourselves to hang on the school tree and to take home to our families! Smile!

Because we had been hard-working elves this year, Santa sent us a special treat on Polar Express Day! Sleigh bells from the North Pole!!! We had a blast going on our scavenger hunt to find them!

On Friday before the holiday break, we had our annual Christmas party! Thanks to all the parents who sent things for games and snacks! We had a wonderful time!

Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
